W/N: SATURDAY CHURCHES DEMAND CHANGE OF ELECTION DAY AND DATE

Apostle Samuel Oteng, National Bishop of the Universal Faith Salvation Church-Ghana has joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) pleading with the Government and the Electoral Commission to change the day and date of voting in the general election from December 7th to 9th  2024.

He said the date for this years general elections falls on Saturday, which will affect them the Sabbatarian worshipers so if there can be any change then the government and EC should do so in order to help all members of Saturday Churches exercise their franchise that day.

In an interaction with Bibianinews.com AkuapimHann, he made this suggestion, asserting that if we don't change the day and date, then the Saturday Church members will have a low turnout because it is the Sabbath day.
