32 Students Unable to Write 2025 BECE in Sefwi Wiawso Municipality
The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) commenced nationwide last Wednesday.
According to Mr. Kwateng Michael, the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Examination Coordinator, 32 out of 3,292 registered students were unable to participate in the examination.
Mr. Kwateng revealed that the 32 absent students comprised 15 males and 17 females. He explained that efforts were made to locate these students and determine the reasons for their absence.
In an interview with Osomafo Kwame Owusu Tikese3 of Bibianinews.com, Mr. Kwateng assured that there had been no reported cases of examination malpractices in the municipality so far.
He noted that the performance of this year's candidates would only be known after the papers have been marked.
Mr. Kwateng urged parents and relatives to refrain from visiting the examination centers while exams are in progress. He emphasized that this would help create a conducive environment for the candidates to focus on their exams without distractions.
