Bibiani, Western North Region – It was a memorable celebration of faith, gratitude and generosity as philanthropist and businessman Mr. Francis Coffie, popularly known as Jesus Open Doors, marked his birthday with a series of charitable activities and a night of praise and worship in Bibiani.
The celebration, dubbed "MP Nation Birthday Praise and Worship Night," brought together hundreds of residents dressed in white to worship God, celebrate the life of the celebrant and thank God for His goodness. The atmosphere was filled with joyful singing, dancing and thanksgiving as patrons glorified God throughout the event.
The colourful occasion attracted people from all walks of life, including traditional authorities, assembly members, politicians, footballers, miners, bankers, journalists, business executives, church leaders, friends and family members, all of whom joined in celebrating the philanthropist.
Delivering his address, Jesus Open Doors gave glory to God for His grace, protection and faithfulness throughout his life.
He expressed profound gratitude to God for adding another year to his age and preserving him despite the many challenges of life.
He also paid glowing tribute to his wife, describing her as a loving, supportive and God-fearing woman whose encouragement has contributed immensely to his personal and professional growth.
"I thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful wife. Since she came into my life, she has been my greatest supporter, and I am truly grateful for everything she does for me," he said.
The philanthropist further expressed appreciation to members of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Redemption Temple, his business associates, employees, friends and all those who travelled from different places to honour his invitation.
He noted that their continuous prayers, encouragement and support have played a significant role in his success and pledged to continue impacting lives through charitable works.
As part of the birthday celebration, Jesus Open Doors undertook several philanthropic activities aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and public institutions.
He donated GH¢10,000 to the HOMA Ghana Orphanage Home at Bibiani Lineso to support the welfare of children under the care of the facility.
He also presented another GH¢10,000 towards the expansion project of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Redemption Temple, reaffirming his commitment to the growth of God's work.
In addition, he donated wheelchairs to the Bibiani Municipal Hospital to improve healthcare delivery and support patients with mobility challenges.
Speaking at the event, several guests commended Jesus Open Doors for using his birthday celebration to serve humanity rather than focusing on personal enjoyment.
They described his charitable initiatives as an inspiration to others and urged individuals blessed with resources to emulate his example by supporting the less privileged and contributing to community development.
The celebration ended on a joyful note as family members, friends and invited guests gathered to pray for God's continued blessings, good health and long life for the celebrant before joining together to sing "Happy Birthday" in his honour amid loud cheers and applause.
The event not only celebrated another milestone in the life of Jesus Open Doors but also highlighted the importance of faith, generosity and selfless service to humanity.
