“My World Has Come to an End” – Wife of Late Headmaster Osman Abdullahi Mourns Tragic Loss

Grief and heartbreak have engulfed the family of the late Mr. Osman Abdullahi, former Headmaster of Subrinkwanta–Kojinah Anglican Primary School, following his sudden and tragic passing in a motorcycle accident while on his way to school.

In an emotional account, his wife, Madam Osman Mariam, described the devastating impact of the loss, saying her life has been turned upside down.

“My world has come to an end,” she lamented, struggling to come to terms with the painful reality.

The late headmaster leaves behind a young family of four children, with the eldest just 8 years old and the youngest only 3 months old. The heartbreaking situation has drawn sympathy from community members, colleagues, and well-wishers who have been deeply touched by the family’s loss.

Madam Mariam recounted the remarkable support and love she enjoyed from her husband throughout their marriage. According to her, Mr. Abdullahi was not only a devoted husband but also a pillar behind her personal growth and success. He supported her through her university education and played an active role in their home, often helping with household chores.

“He was everything to me,” she shared. “We used to wash our children’s school uniforms together on weekends. He never left everything to me alone.”

She further revealed that her late husband had worked tirelessly to build a home for the family—a dream that was just days away from becoming a reality. Tragically, the family had only one week left to move into their newly completed house before the unfortunate incident occurred.

“What pains me most is that he struggled so much to build our house, and now he is not here to see us move in,” she said.

The late Mr. Osman Abdullahi is remembered by many as a dedicated educator, a loving family man, and a hardworking individual whose life was cut short at a time when his family needed him most.

His passing has not only left a void in his family but also in the educational community where he served diligently.

As the family prepares for his final funeral rites, calls are growing for support to help the young widow and her children navigate this difficult period.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
