Seaman mourns helicopter crash victims, appeal to government to fight against gallamsayers

Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman, Chairman of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency Council of Patrons, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash at Adansi Akrofuom that claimed the lives of eight Ghanaians, including Defence Minister Dr. Omane Boamah and MP for Tamale Central, Hon. Mohammed Murtala. Describing the incident as "painful and sorrowful," Seaman emphasized that these leaders died in the line of duty, serving Ghana.

Seaman extended his condolences to the bereaved families, urging the nation to mourn with compassion and understanding. He cautioned against reckless or superstitious remarks about the crash's cause, advising, "A helicopter is a machine that can fail unexpectedly. Let's not rush to blame others or attribute the tragedy solely to spiritual causes."

The grassroots leader stressed the importance of supporting the affected families rather than engaging in blame games. "Accidents are unpredictable. Let's be measured and respectful in our commentary," he added.

Seaman also called on President John Dramani Mahama to fulfill his promises, particularly regarding the fight against galamsey. He urged the President to take concrete actions to address the issue.
