The calls follow the club’s recent disappointing results, with some supporters expressing growing frustration over the team’s performance during the Top 4 tournament and the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

According to the fans, Coach Petros has failed to meet expectations since taking charge, particularly during the Top 4 tournament, where they believe the team’s performances raised concerns about his tactical approach, player selection and substitutions.

The supporters argue that those concerns have continued into the league season, with GoldStars already dropping crucial points and suffering defeats that they believe could have been avoided.

The fans’ frustration intensified following GoldStars’ recent encounter with Hearts of Oak.

They questioned the decision to substitute Michael Abina after he received a yellow card. While acknowledging that the substitution could have been intended to prevent the player from receiving a second yellow card, the supporters were unhappy with the performance of Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, who replaced Abina.

According to the fans, Fosu Kyei struggled to make a meaningful impact after coming onto the pitch, and they believe his inability to perform effectively contributed to GoldStars losing control of the game.
