NPP Primaries: Bibiani NPP Serial Callers Association Chairman Advocates Issue-Based Campaigning
The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Serial Callers Association in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Talha Fuseni, popularly known as Chairman Kotata, has called on NPP presidential aspirants to desist from engaging in the politics of insults as the party gears up for its internal primaries.
According to him, personal attacks, name-calling, and divisive rhetoric among aspirants and their supporters undermine party unity and divert attention from critical national and party-building issues. He noted that such conduct has the potential to create deep-seated divisions within the party, which could adversely affect its prospects in future elections.
Chairman Kotata further urged supporters of the various aspirants to conduct themselves with discipline, maturity, and respect throughout the campaign period. He emphasized that after the primaries, the party would require the collective support and cooperation of all members to secure victory in the general elections.
He stressed that the NPP remains one united family, and regardless of individual preferences during the primaries, unity must be upheld at all times. He therefore encouraged party members to embrace issue-based campaigning, constructive dialogue, and peaceful coexistence, adding that mutual respect and cooperation are essential to strengthening the party.
Mr. Talha Fuseni concluded by appealing to all stakeholders within the party to place the interest of the NPP above personal ambitions, noting that unity before, during, and after the primaries is key to the party’s progress and success.
