Bibiani Forest District involves stakeholders in discussions on illegal mining at Upper Wasssa Forest Reserve

The Bibiani Forest Service Division and the Nananom met today to address the protection and restoration of the Bibiani Forest Reserve affected by illegal mining.

Mr Kobbina Baiden, the Bibiani District Forest Manager, is seeking the support of Nananom in curbing the issue.

Nana Kansah Ababio from Nananom pledged support to the management and offered advice on fighting galamseyers in the reserved forest. They also commended the new District Manager's actions.
