Bibiani GoldStars captain Yakubu Haqq acknowledges the challenges ahead as they make their CAF Champions League debut against JS Kabylie.

Bibiani GoldStars will face JS Kabylie in the preliminary round, with the first leg scheduled for September 19-21 in Ghana and the return leg a week later in Algiers.

The winner will advance to meet either Sierra Leone's East End Lions or Tunisia's US Monastir in the next stage.

Team Preparation

Haqq highlighted that this year's preparation has been more intense than previous seasons, with significant additions to their squad to strengthen all areas. 

Coach Frimpong Manso is confident in his team's abilities, stating, "We know the challenge ahead, but we also know what we're capable of." The team's CEO, Akwasi Adu, has set a target to reach the group stage, known as the "money zone".
