Bibiani, Western North Region – Businessman and philanthropist Mr. Francis Coffie, popularly known as Jesus Open Doors, has donated GH¢10,000 to support the ongoing church building expansion project at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Redemption Temple in Bibiani.

The donation formed part of activities marking his birthday celebration and was presented during a brief ceremony at the church.

Speaking to the media after making the donation, Mr. Coffie said supporting the work of God has always been one of his priorities. He explained that upon learning about the church's expansion project, he decided to contribute towards its successful completion as a way of celebrating his birthday.

According to him, the Bible encourages Christians to support the work of God, especially the building and maintenance of places of worship, which he described as the Temple of God.

"I believe there is no better way to celebrate my birthday than to invest in God's kingdom. The Bible teaches us to support God's work, and I pray this contribution will help speed up the completion of the church project," he said.

Mr. Coffie encouraged other Christians and members of the public to contribute towards church projects in their communities, stressing that every contribution, regardless of the amount, helps advance the work of God.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the church, Mr. Anthony Asubonteng, a member of the Church Project Committee, expressed profound appreciation to Mr. Coffie for the generous support.

He described the donation as a significant boost to the ongoing expansion project and said it would contribute to the timely completion of the church auditorium.

Mr. Asubonteng prayed for God's continued blessings upon the donor and appealed to other individuals, church members, and corporate organizations to emulate the example of Jesus Open Doors by supporting the church's building project to create a more spacious and conducive place of worship for the growing congregation.
