W/N : MCE DONATES FOOTBALL AND A SET OF JERSEY TO BIBIANI OLD PLAYERS ASSOCIATION
As the adage goes, “once a sportsman always a sportsman.”
The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai has demonstrated his sportsmanship by donating a set of jerseys and football to the Bibiani Old Players Association (BOPA).
The gesture was made by the MCE in the early hours of Sunday, 26th December 2023.
In a short address, Hon Paul Andoh, the MCE, indicated that he was supposed to accompany the MP for the exercise, but an equally important assignment had taken him to a different part of the Constituency.
He added that sports help to develop mental health and physical fitness of the body. Hence, they should exercise regularly to reduce cardiac arrest and other complications.
Mr. John Akwasi-Adu, the Chairman of the association on behalf of the team, expressed appreciation for the gesture and urged the Municipal Chief to visit them regularly.
