Residents of Sefwi Akontombra Nkwanta, a farming community in the Aowin municipality of the Western North Region have expressed concerns over poor telecommunication network in the community.
They said the situation is affecting their social and economic lives and is even more dangerous in times of emergency.
The residents made this known in an interview with Bibianinews.com reporter Obrempong Kwame Yeboah as the residents saying that a network mast has been planted in the community but it has not been completed to provide network service for use.
They said the issue is very worrying because workers such as nurses and teachers posted to the area find it difficult to accept to go to the place due to this challenge.
Meanwhile, the Assemblyman for Akontombra Nkwanta Electoral Area, Tobi, James Ampofo humbly appealed to the government to complete their abandoned telecommunication mast for it's perpuse.
