Mr. Alfred Obeng-Boateng, the Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, is on a working visit to 15 communities in the Constituency.
He examined various projects, including those he financed, and those supported by the government, and expressed admiration for the ongoing work's progress. The MP used the chance to connect with the locals, grasp their worries, and deliberate on relevant topics. The residents were also informed about legislative issues.
Mechanized boreholes, bridges, school buildings, public sanitary facilities, Astroturf, Bituminous surfacing, health facilities, and CHPS Compounds are a few of the projects.
Some of the beneficiary communities included Ashiam, Muoho, Humjibre, Kwaaso, Donsokrom, Baakokrom, Atronsu, Adobewora No.2, and Nyetina.
The MP met with individuals to reiterate his dedication to addressing their pressing needs. Hon Obeng-Boateng appealed to the traditional leaders and the residents of the communities to consider his sacrifices towards developing the constituency and reward him. Regarding Free SHS, he stressed the policy's excellence and urged rural residents, the school placement system, to back it. This system enables students to enroll in top-tier schools regardless of where they live. He rallied support for the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia, in the December polls.
To motivate kids to stay in school, the member of parliament recommended parents bring their kids to school and provide them with essential supplies. He urged the local students to work hard in their studies so they can take advantage of the prospects for further education, stressing that education and health remain his top objectives.
The MP inspected sites to construe durbar grounds for Asawinso and the market for Domenibo No. 2.
As part of his contribution to the International Women’s Day Celebration held, and Women empowerment, the MP offered stipends to all women who turned up for the various meetings.
The community leaders lauded the MP for his support and pledged their support to develop the communities.
The MP’s entourage comprised Ben Ali Seaman, chairman of patrons, Christina Donkoh, Women Organizer, Badu Joseph, Organizer, Osei Koranteng, Communications Officer, and Boakye Danso.
