MASLOC ISSUES FINAL DEADLINE FOR LOAN DEFAULTERS

The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) in the Western North Region wishes to inform all loan beneficiaries who have defaulted on their repayment obligations that they have until September 30, 2025, to settle their outstanding loans.

This deadline is final, and all efforts must be made by defaulters to repay the amounts due. Failure to do so will compel MASLOC to take necessary legal actions to retrieve the funds, including but not limited to publication of names and prosecution.

Loan facilities provided by MASLOC are meant to support the economic empowerment of individuals and groups.

The sustainability of this initiative depends on timely repayment. All MMDCEs, Assembly Members, and local stakeholders are kindly encouraged to support MASLOC's recovery efforts within their jurisdictions.

The Regional MASLOC Manager, Isaiah Kwarteng, urges all defaulters to treat this notice with the utmost seriousness and comply before the stated deadline.

He emphasizes that some loan beneficiaries who have defaulted on their repayment obligations owe the government a significant amount of money, including loans for vehicles, motorbikes, and other items.

Isaiah Kwarteng encourages anyone with inquiries about MASLOC's operations to visit their office. He notes that one challenge MASLOC faces is the lack of documentation linking loan agreements to collateral seizure or property sale in case of default.
