The press, Ladies and Gentlemen,I would like to take this great opportunity to set the record straight. Let me begin by congratulating the NPP national executives, the president and the vice president of the Republic for playing an active role in retaining the Ejisu seat. Lawyer Kwabena Boateng deserves to be congratulated on winning Ejisu bye - election. The New Patriotic Party has once again showed a high level of professionalism, circumspection and maturity for conducting bye-elections. Ghana’s democracy is the winner.

Ladies and Gentlemen,it is an obvious fact that Hon. Owusu Aduomi had the support of the NDC in this bye elections because of the inability by the NDC to present a candidate. NDC gave Hon. Aduomi hundred percent support yet, he lost the election. It tells you how attractive the NPP is to the good people of the Ejisu constituency.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the most effective way to win 2024 general elections is by organizing, especially at the grassroots level and also do proper research on the internal wrangling of the party, I believe some problems are mere hatred and not of tangible reasons.We can resolve some of these minor issues before general elections and I am happy our able National Executives are taking steps to address those issues. NPP must win this year’s election at all costs to boast assuring many Ghanaians.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ghanaians have lost confidence in NDC and former president Mahama. The fact of the matter is that there are more bribery and corruption scandals hanging on the neck of former president Mahama than any other president in the history of Ghanaian politics. Most discerning Ghanaians voted against former president Mahama to protest against canceling teacher and nursing trainee allowance and all the dubious judgement debt payments.

Former president Mahama is an expired vehicle of no return,he doesn’t deserve to be president again, make no mistake.

When given the opportunity to rule this nation again, former president Mahama will cancel free SHS, burdening ordinary Ghanaians.

Let’s give Alhaji, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the chance to lead this nation, and I believe Ghana will prosper.

May the Almighty Allah bless NPP government.
