The 2026 edition of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Inter-JHS Independence Day Quiz Competition recorded impressive participation, with several schools across the municipality competing for the ultimate prize.
The competition, organized as part of activities marking Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary celebration, brought together brilliant young minds from both public and private Junior High Schools within the municipality. The event aimed at promoting academic excellence, patriotism, and healthy competition among students.
Participating schools were selected from various circuits across the municipality, ensuring fair representation and inclusiveness. The contest featured rounds in subjects such as Mathematics, English Language, Science, Social Studies, and Current Affairs, testing the depth of knowledge and critical thinking abilities of the contestants.
Education authorities, teachers, parents, and dignitaries who graced the occasion commended the initiative, describing it as a platform that helps to unearth academic talents and prepare students for higher academic challenges.
The Municipal Education Directorate expressed appreciation to all participating schools, quiz masters, and sponsors for their continuous support in making the annual competition a success.
