John Mahama didn’t introduce Free SHS don’t be deceived–Hon Joseph Badu
The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Organizer Hon Joseph Badu, famously referred to as Father Badu has called on Ghanaians to decline the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s attempts to mislead them into voting for the opposition party in the 2024 general elections.
Hon Joseph Badu’s comment follows recent remarks by John Mahama, who claimed that the Free SHS policy was introduced by the NDC.
He accused the NDC of making similar claims during the 2008 election, only to dismantle social interventions introduced by the John Kufuor administration once they were in power.
Father Badu clarified that the Free Senior High School policy was introduced across the country by the NPP government.
He uses the opportunity to appeal to Ghanaians to vote for the NPP to continue with the numerous developmental projects.
“The New Patriotic Party believe in democracy and we therefore always approach every election with a peaceful mindset, we go to any elections selling our policies and messages to the electorates and not engaging in any social vices.
He added that the incumbent MP for the area Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng campaign team takes every match serious and, due to this, they have taken this year’s elections campaign seriously. He appealed to the Bibiani Anhwiaso Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituents to come out in their numbers and vote for Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng to continue to help the Constituents.
