HON. ALFRED OBENG-BOATENG TO PAY FOR DRIVING LICENCE FOR PRAGIA AND OKADA RIDERS IN THE BIBIANI-ANHWIASO-BEKWAI CONSTITUENCY

To ensure that the Pragia and Motor Bike riders do not breach the laws of Ghana that may lead them into trouble, he assured them of paying for their licence fees. 

The cost per one person for Class A is 750 ghs and he will start the process from Monday where 50 of them will be issued with the licence after going through the screening including eye test. 

An arrangement has been made to bring the DVLA officials to do it at Bibiani in order to prevent additional cost due to transportation fare. 

The issuance of the licence will be in batches but the total number to be paid for will be 150 people for this year. 

The next batch will be another 50 people and that will be at Subiri Nkwanta. 

The last batch which will cater to 50 people will take place in Sefwi Bekwai.

Below is the list of those selected to be issued with the licence on Monday 22 nd July, 2024 after going through the screening at Bibiani.

The total cost for the 150 licences is Ghs 112,500.00 and this will be borne by Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng using his own personal money.
