Nana Kofi Affi II, Chief of Sefwi Subri-Nkwanta in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has advised Politicians and their supporters especially the youth within Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency to desist from insults and personal attacks of their opponents in the run up to this year’s general elections.

He emphasized the significance of conducting clean campaigns focused on current issues and refraining from engaging in actions that might disturb the peace and unity in the country.

“What Political parties must do is to use their platforms to explain their policies to the electorate without Insults vilifications and attacks because such actions have the potential to plunge the nation into choosing.

The Mawerehene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council Nana Kofi Affi II advised the youth to be mindful of some unscrupulous politicians who might want to use them to foment trouble before and during the December 7, 2024 elections.

“As a youth, you must not allow politicians to use you as tools to cause misunderstanding that might easily provoke violence in the electioneering,” he said.

Rather, channel your youthful exuberance into activities that would promote peace and social cohesion and remain as campaigners of societal peace, he said.
