In a resounding display of academic prowess and pedagogical excellence, Wiawso College of Education has been crowned the winner of the 2025 National Grand Finale of the Pedagogy Challenge. The competition, organized by the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana, brought together top-performing colleges of education from across the country.
Held at St. Francis College of Education in Hohoe, the contest featured four sector representatives: Wiawso College of Education (Western, Western North, and Central sector), Akatsi College of Education (Volta sector), Methodist College of Education (Eastern and Greater Accra sector), and St. Joseph College of Education (Ashanti and Bono sector).
After a fiercely contested battle of wits, knowledge, and teaching skills, Wiawso College of Education emerged triumphant with an impressive 74 points, claiming the top spot. St. Joseph College of Education followed closely with 69 points, while Akatsi College of Education and Methodist College of Education scored 61 and 51 points, respectively.
