The Presiding Elder of The Church of Pentecost, Bibiani Abesinsuom Assembly, Elder Daniel Arthur, has called on Christians to cultivate a spirit of forgiveness and let go of past hurts.
According to him, forgiveness is a core teaching of Christianity and a command from Jesus Christ that believers must uphold in their daily lives.
Speaking to the congregation, Elder Daniel emphasized that holding on to offenses only brings pain and division, while forgiveness promotes peace, unity, and spiritual growth.
He urged Christians to make a conscious effort to forgive those who have wronged them and to remove bitterness from their hearts, adding that true healing comes when individuals choose to let go.
Elder Daniel further reminded believers that when Jesus Christ came, He taught His followers to forgive one another, regardless of the situation, and to love their neighbors as themselves.
He encouraged the faithful to reflect the character of Christ by showing mercy, kindness, and understanding in their interactions with others.
The message, he noted, is especially important in today’s world, where conflicts and misunderstandings are common, stressing that forgiveness remains a powerful tool for building stronger relationships and a peaceful community.
