The items donated included exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, colouring materials, footballs, computers and other educational supplies aimed at improving teaching and learning and providing pupils with essential educational resources.

Presenting the items, Mr. Alex Donkor explained that education was dear to his heart, which had motivated him to use his personal resources to support the school.

He noted that education played a crucial role in shaping the future of children and promoting community development. He stressed the need for individuals to contribute towards improving educational opportunities, particularly for pupils whose parents faced financial challenges in providing their basic school requirements.

Mr. Donkor urged the school authorities and pupils to take good care of the donated items to ensure they lasted longer and benefited the school.

He expressed hope that the materials would help improve teaching and learning while motivating pupils to take their studies seriously.

Headmaster Expresses Gratitude

The Headmaster of Kwakumme-Krom and Afful-Krom M/A Basic School, Mr. Asare Tanoh Philip, expressed gratitude to Mr. Alex Donkor for the donation, describing it as timely support for the school and its pupils.

According to him, since the reopening of schools, some parents have struggled to purchase essential learning materials for their children due to financial difficulties.

He explained that the donation would help address some of the challenges faced by pupils and their parents while creating a more supportive learning environment.

Mr. Tanoh Philip assured the donor that the school would take proper care of the items to ensure they served their intended purpose.

He also commended Mr. Donkor for using his personal resources to support education and called on other individuals, organisations and philanthropists to emulate his example by contributing to the development of schools in their communities.

School Appeals for Toilet Facility, Water and Teachers' Quarters

Despite expressing appreciation for the donation, Mr. Tanoh Philip used the opportunity to appeal to the government, the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly, philanthropists and other development partners to assist the school with its pressing infrastructural needs.

He specifically appealed for the provision of a toilet facility, access to potable water and teachers' quarters.

According to him, these facilities are essential for improving sanitation, ensuring access to clean water and providing suitable accommodation for teachers.

He expressed hope that the relevant authorities and benevolent individuals would respond positively to the appeal to improve conditions at the school and create a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
