Chief Priest Laments Exclusion of Fetish Priests from National Thanksgiving Day

Nana Baffour Gyau, the Chief Priest of Asuo-Paamu shrine's Suman Kwaku Abrantie in the Atwima Mponuah district of the Ashanti Region has expressed  his view over the exclusion of fetish priests from the National Thanksgiving Day.

In a recent interview with the media, he stated that this is not the first time that fetish priests have been overlooked in national programs.

Nana Baffour Gyau's Suman Kwaku Abrantie urged his colleagues, Suman to continue protecting for the country, despite feeling excluded from national events.

He emphasized the importance of spiritual guidance and support for the nation's well-being.

"Fetish priests have played a significant role in Ghanaian culture and tradition for centuries. We believed to possess spiritual powers and are often consulted for guidance and protection.

Our exclusion from national events may be seen as a disregard for the country's rich cultural heritage.

The Chief Priest's Suman comments highlight the need for greater recognition and inclusion of traditional leaders and fetish priests in national events. By acknowledging and respecting the country's diverse cultural practices, the government can promote unity and national cohesion.
