The Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Post, Lawyer Stephen Kingsley Bennie, has extended his best wishes to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency ahead of its constituency executive elections.

Speaking to the media, Lawyer Bennie expressed the hope that the entire electoral process would be conducted peacefully, fairly and transparently. He urged all aspirants and delegates to uphold the values of unity, mutual respect and democracy throughout the exercise.

According to him, although the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are political rivals, members of both parties in the constituency are one people who share long-standing friendships and family ties.

"Politics is simply a contest of ideas. At the end of every election, we remain brothers, sisters and friends. We should therefore conduct ourselves in a manner that promotes peace and development," he stated.

Lawyer Bennie wished all the constituency executive aspirants the very best of luck in the elections and encouraged them to accept the outcome in good faith.

He further remarked that while some aspirants would emerge victorious and others would not, politics should not create permanent divisions among party members.

In a light-hearted political remark, the NDC stalwart invited unsuccessful NPP aspirants to consider joining the National Democratic Congress. He expressed confidence that the NDC would retain the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai parliamentary seat for the next 20 years and also predicted that the party would secure the presidency during that period, adding that the NPP would remain in opposition.

His comments have sparked discussions among political observers and party supporters, as preparations continue for the NPP constituency executive elections in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai.
