Bibiani Municipal Fire Service Orients New YEA/Fire Service Assistants For Service Delivery

The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal command of the Ghana National Fire Service recently organized an orientation for newly recruited Youth Employment Agency (YEA)/Fire Service Assistants (FSA) posted to the municipality.The event aimed to equip the personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

DOII Enock Tetteh, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Fire Commander, charged the Fire Service Assistants to learn on the job, maintain physical fitness, and deliver professional service through safety education and training.

He warned the personnel against misconduct and absenteeism, emphasizing that their monthly pay is contingent upon validation from their supervisors.

The Fire Commander emphasized that the Fire Service Assistants' roles are crucial to community safety and national development. He encouraged them to view their positions as opportunities to make a positive impact in their localities and the nation at large.

ADOI David Azumah, the Municipal Safety Officer of GNFS, also offered words of wisdom to the recruits. He advised them to remain humble and avoid laziness, emphasizing the importance of diligence and dedication in their work.

The FSA personnel expressed their appreciation and assured that they would work hard to make an impact through continuous safety education programs and training across the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.
