Road Accident at Bibiani Accra Bus Station Leaves Corolla Driver Hospitalised

A road accident involving two Toyota Corolla vehicles occurred at the Bibiani Accra Bus Station along the Sefwi Bekwai–Bibiani highway at about 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday night.

According to information gathered, a Toyota Corolla with registration number WT 98-19, travelling from Sefwi Bekwai towards Bibiani, collided with another Toyota Corolla which was reportedly without a number plate at the Bibiani Accra Bus Station.

The unregistered Corolla was reportedly carrying four young men, who had alighted at the station to attend a friend's funeral weak keeping observation ceremony when the incident occurred.

The collision caused damage to the vehicles, while the driver of the Corolla with registration number WT 98-19 sustained injuries.

The injured driver was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.

The condition of the four occupants of the other vehicle is yet to be independently confirmed.

The exact circumstances that led to the collision, including how the two vehicles came into contact, are not yet clear. Relevant authorities are expected to investigate the incident and establish the cause of the accident.
