W/N/R : Kwasuo Residents Appeal For Communication Masts

Residents of Kwasuo a farming community in the Suaman District of the Western North Region, are appealing for telecommunication mast over poor telecommunication there.

The appeal of the residents comes at the back of incessant unstable telecommunication networks in the community, which is affecting every facet of the community and having a toll on the lives of the people.

According to the residents, they have a challenge accessing major telecommunication networks such as Mobile Telecommunications Networks (MTN), Vodafone Ghana, and TigoAirtel as the community lacks a single telecommunication mast.

Nana Osei Antwi III, the Chief of the area, in an interview with Bibianinews.com named poor communication as one of their major challenge.

He revealed that the community is completely cut off from other communities due to the absence of a stable and strong telecommunication network as they have to rely on masts.

The residents are therefore making a passionate appeal to the Communications Ministry and telecommunication companies to come to their aid by hooking them onto the telecommunication grid.
