W/N : Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council Lifts Ban On Funerals

The Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has lifted a ban placed on the holding of funerals due to the Celebration of this year’s Elluo Festival in the area.

The ban took effect from November 1st to pave the way for the commencement of the 2023 Elluo Festival, which officially ended on Thursday, November 30.

Speaking with Nana Ebiri Kwaku II, the Odikro of Bibiani Hwenampire, he said “the ban on funerals played by Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council as a result of the 2023 Elluo Festival has been lifted hence funeral rites can go head in any part of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional.

He appeals to residents to continue to pray for the Overland of the area, Ogyahoho Yaw Gyebi II.

He there expressed his appreciation to residents for adhering strictly to the directive throughout the stipulated period.
