W/N: Businessman Installed As Acting National House Of Chiefs President’s Abusuapanin

A 44-year-old businessman has been coronated as the acting Abusuapanin (head of the royal family) of Sefwi Anhwiaso Aduana Royal family in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region under a stool title, Nana Kwabena Obeng.

Mr. Kwabena Obeng, popularly known as Big Moro/K.O who also serves as acting Chief of Sefwi Pataboso in the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, is acting on behalf of his elder brother Nana Kyem Kofi Ankoana, who is not feeling well.

The young man was installed in front of a large crowd of people from far and near who gathered at the Sefwi Pataboso Chief’s Palace to witness the traditional occasion.

Following his coronation, the new acting chief thanked the chiefs and people of the traditional area for entrusting him with such a venerable role.

Nana Kwabena Obeng called for peace and unity among the rank and file of the community.

According to him, no community would see any meaningful development in an environment full of misunderstanding, hatred and disunity, hence it would be more important for the people of Pataboso to consider peace and unity.

Nana Kwabena Obeng promised to always be available to the people, especially the traditional council, in times of need.

The royal urged the community to embrace peace and collaborate with him to make Sefwi Pataboso and Sefwi Anhwiaso a desirable destination for many foreign residents.

He also stated his willingness to collaborate and communicate with the council in order to bring development to the entire traditional area.

Following the ceremony, Sefwi Anhwiaso Abakomahene, who doubles as Sefwi Ntakam Chief, Nana Kwadjo Somiah, urged the new acting chief to remain loyal to the clan and accountable to the paramountcy.

He also urged him to remember to seek their help in times of difficulty in order to make his reign a success.

Nana Ahomah Awoa II, Omanhene’s Abusuapanin queen mother at her address, advised the newly installed acting Abusuapanin to be law abiding and obey tradition and culture.

Nana Ahomah Awoa II finally pledged her support to Nana Kwabena Obeng, the newly installed acting chief of Akan custom and tradition.
