Just Inn: Man, 45, found dead in bush after going missing

Someone found a 45-year-old man dead in a bush at AKwasi-Benkrom, a cottage near Bethlehem in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

After two days of being missing, they located the deceased, Francis Asamoah, who was popularly known as “Yaawi.”

In an interview with Bibianinews.com, the deceased wife Georgina Ofori said her late husband went to plant maize while she was home cooking the food they will eat on the farm.

She added that she went to the farm but did not see her husband and all efforts to locate him proved futile, so she came back home and informed the neighbours to mount a search party for her husband, but there was still no sign of him.

They continued the search party the next day and the lifeless body of Francis was found.

Mr Samuel Abugri, the Assembly member for the Bethlehem electoral, said he informed the police, and the body was conveyed to the Bibiani Government hospital mortuary and have since commenced an investigation into the incident.
