Cooking Competition For Blend Women

W/N : ATTA FRANCIS FOUNDATION, ORGANIZED COOKING COMPETITION FOR BLIND WOMEN IN WESTERN NORTH REGION.

Atta Francis is the AssemblyMember for Yawmatwa- Nkwanta also double as Ghana Blend Union President in the Western North Region, who is also the Foundation Of Atta Francis Foundation has organized a cooking competition for blind women in the Western North Region.

This competition was organized at Sehwi Essam in Bia West District, 6 district participate this competition, district who was are Sehwi Juaboso, Aowin, Bodi, Sehwi Wiawso and Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai.

Some blend women a Fufu and palm- nut soup with cook meat and ampesi with nkotomire stew, some also cooked rice and stew, Konkote and Okro Stew.

Atta Francis Speaking to Bibianinews.com’s Obrempong Kwame Yeboah that, the motive he Organized this competition is that, if someone is a blind that’s not the end of his life, so he went to organized this competition to let those who are not blend to know they that, they can do more than those who are not blended.

Again, he continue advice his colleagues that, they should believe themselves and if they are blend is the end of their life, and appeal to those who are not blind that, they should come and join to form the Ghana Blind Union and everything will go well for them.

At the end of the competition, Lidya Mintah from Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai was crowned the best cooker in the competition who prepared Fufu and Palm-nut soup also ampesi with nkotomire stew.

Rita Obiri Yeboah thanked those who assist them in the organization and they promised that they will do much more than this.
