SOCIAL: Residents Of Sefwi Dominebo Number 2 Appeal To Telecos For Improved Network

Residents of Sefwi Dominebo Number 2, a Farming Community in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region are seeking the support of the National Communications Authority (NCA) to enhance network connectivity to stem the perennial challenges botched by a bad network.

The residents have expressed worry over the poor network service of mobile telecommunication companies in the area which is affecting trading and their business and appealed to the NCA to compel the Telecom companies to improve on their service.

Some of the residents said they have lost opportunity during the recruitment process at the mansion, gold limited due to the challenges of the telcos network.

Speaking to Nana Akwasi Danso Mills, the Assembly member of the area said sometimes they had to climb to the hilly areas or stand at particular vantage points in order to access guaranteed networks with attendants issues for clear signals.

He said the worrisome part is that, if there are any criminal activities ongoing, reaching out to the police for assistance would because problematic.

The residents are calling on the government and network operators for an extension of telcos infrastructure to enhance economic activities.
