Press Release from the Coordinator for Movement for Justice and Equal Right, Professor Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman.
The Press, Nananom, ladies and gentlemen, we have gathered here today to set the record straight. The youth must stop getting involved in violence activities. They should instead use their energy and resources to transform violence in all corners of this country.
It takes a world to end violence, but it starts with me, you and us. My advice to the youth of this country is that they should not allow politicians to use them as conduits for violence.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is sad that the youth should have the most incentive to envision the long term and invest in the future, but in fact, the youth are the most likely to be manipulated to sacrifice their own long-term interests and maybe even their lives for the sake of the older generation in power.
Ladies and Gentlemen, President Akufo Addo led the NPP government has implemented more innovative social intervention policies than the NDC in the history of this country. Key among them is Free Senior High School Education to rescue ordinary Ghanaians,One District One Factory, One village One Dam, planting for food and jobs and so on.
When it comes to the NDC, accusations of corruption were a rallying call over the past many years of Ghana being ruled by the NDC under vice president and president Mahama.
Finally, ladies and gentlemen, former president Mahama has nothing good to offer this country. Let’s reject him one more time and vote massively for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and all the NPP Parliamentary candidates across the country for a better and prosperous Ghana.
May the Almighty Allah bless us all.
