Bibiani Hwenampire Electoral Area Women Undergo Training In Soap Making

A three day intensive training in soap making has been organised for participants drawn from four communities in the Bibiani Hwenampire Electoral Area in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

The women were selected from communities such as Abesinsuom,Praga,Kwaku Mmekrom and Hwenampire.

Addressing the participants at the end of the training, an aspiring Assemblyman for the electoral area Mr.Sylvester Gyinaye popularly known as A1 who Organised and sponsored the training for free said the goal was to equip them with the necessary skills and tools to enable them make their own liquid soaps for personal use and also to possibly serve as an income generating activity for them since they were in high demand. 

A total of 200 persons and Facilitators/Trainers–5) were invited for the three days training program.

He admonished them to take the training seriously since the skills obtained from the training would be of benefit to them.

The participants were taken through the various stages in preparing the liquid soap with the available ingredients (a bucket of water, perfume, thickener, colour, foam booster, salt, etc.).

The participants observed carefully the preparation process and after had the opportunity to ask questions and practice what they had learnt by making their own liquid soap after the training with guidance from the trainers.

The participants requested to know where they could purchase the liquid soap making items and they were answered in that regard.

Participants praised A1 for such training and promised to remember him come 19th December,2023 the District Levels Elections Day.
