Reed Danos Medical Center and John Richmond Foundation Offer Free NHIS Registration and Renewal for Bibiani residents
The Reed Danos Medical Center in Bibiani, in collaboration with the John and Richmond Foundation, USA, is set to register and renew the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for 1000 residents of Bibiani.
The initiative targets individuals aged 0-17 and 60 and above, enabling them to access healthcare services when needed.
The exercise will take place from Monday, September 1st, to Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at the Hospital's premises in Bibiani-Ahodwo.
The Hospital's Administrator, Mr. Koomson Joseph, urged eligible residents to take advantage of the opportunity and register for the NHIS.
Mrs Grace Botwe, Senior Data Entry Operator at the Bibiani NHIS Office, confirmed the free nature of the exercise and encouraged residents to take advantage of it. She also urged them to report any unlawful demands for money by healthcare facilities to their office for further actions.
Some beneficiaries of the free NHIS registration and renewal expressed gratitude to Reed Danos Medical Center and the John and Richmond Foundation for their kind gesture. They called on others to seize the opportunity and register for the NHIS.
