New Queen Mother Installed in Bibiani Attakrom

Nana Ama Ackaah, a 40-year-old businesswoman, has been installed as the new Queen Mother of Attakrom, a suburb of Sefwi Bibiani in the Western North Region. She succeeds her late grandmother, Nana Yaah Ackaah, who passed away over 15 years ago.

The Chief of Attakrom, Nana Kofi Atta, presented Nana Ama Ackaah to the kingmakers of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area as the chosen candidate from the ruling gate.
In his address, the Chief advised the new Queen Mother to work diligently to ensure peace and unity in the community.

Nana Ama Ackaah thanked the Paramount Chief of Sefwi-Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, and the entire Attakrom community for the honor. She urged the youth to focus on acquiring knowledge and skills, and challenged parents to prioritize their children's education.

The Queen Mother emphasized that education is the best legacy parents can give to their children and encouraged them to invest in their educational needs. She also advised parents to refrain from unnecessary expenditure, particularly on funerals, and instead channel their resources into their children's training.
