Journalists Visit Bibiani Mortuary to Assess Renovation Progress
A recent visit to the Bibiani Government Hospital mortuary by journalists revealed encouraging progress in its renovation.
The mortuary, which serves residents from the Ahafo, Central, Western, Ashanti, and Western North regions, had been in a dilapidated state, making it unsuitable for storing deceased individuals.
The media visit noted significant improvements since the renovation began.
Mr. Fred Kumi, Assistant Director of the hospital, led the journalists through the mortuary rooms, highlighting the extensive refurbishment.
He expressed gratitude to the Bibiani Gold mines manager and other supporters for their substantial contributions.
Mr. Kumi announced that the mortuary would be officially launched at a later date and invited residents to utilize the facility once it is operational.
The hospital's efforts to provide a dignified and sanitary space for storing the deceased are expected to greatly benefit the community.
