Politics: Mahama Will Not Die, He Will Win 2024 Elections - NDC Regional Chairman

The Western North Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Michael Aidoo (Big Aidoo) has expressed his concern about the comment made by the founding member of the National Democratic Congress, Kwesi Ahwoi caused a stir at the nomination party for Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang when he offered some advice to the running mate of John Dramani Mahama for 2024 election, and urging her to condition herself for the role of president as ‘anything can happen’ statement to him was uncolloquial and must be condemned.

According to Mr. Michael Aidoo (Big Aidoo), there are rules and regulations guiding the NDC, and if Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi is a registered voter in my region, I would have suspended him and referred him to the party hierarchy for necessary action to be taken since the party is vent to capture power come December 7 elections.

“This is not the time to bring this statement to the public, and if you could recall, during the 2020 general elections, these same Ahwoi family launched a book called working with Rawlings and it affected the party’s chances in the run up to 2020 general elections when the party was clamouring for peace and I asked myself why would the Ahwoi’s do that with so experienced and matured in politics. But with protecting God, Mahama will not die. He will win the 2024 elections and finish his four-year term,” he added.

He said, his apology has been accepted, but the damage has already been caused, the NDC is now calling for unity and peace ahead of the 2024 elections to allow Mahama to come and correct the wrongs the NPP has caused, but the anything can happen comment should be disregarded.
