The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Patrons Chairman Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman has urged all Ghanaians, particularly those who have registered to vote, to take the ongoing voter exhibition exercise seriously and make time to check their viability in the register either in person or electronically.

Speaking with the media when he embarked on a tour of several polling stations to monitor the ongoing electoral exercise, he said his intention for this tour was to gain a clear understanding of what was happening on the ground.

He visited Bibiani C A C Bibiani 2 polling station, SDA Church East Newton 1 A and B polling station and many more.

He stressed that it is Ghanaians’ constitutional obligation, and the only way they can be part of a decision to choose leaders to lead Ghana is to vote in the December 7 general election.

The exercise which sought to correct name spelling, picture calibration, removal of deceased persons, etc. from the voters’ register.

The EC commenced the voters’ exhibition exercise last Tuesday, August 20 and will end on August 27, to enable voters to verify their details in the register for the December 7 general election.

The week-long exercise, scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily, incluinvolved all registered voters.

The EC had originally fixed August 1 to 7, 2024, for the exhibition exercise, but rescheduled it due to the mop-up limited registration excitedly’s electronically via short code *711*51# at the cost of 50 pesewas.
