Obrempong Nana Akwasi Gyimah, Abakomahene of Sefwi Bekwai Apenkrom, has called on the youth to embrace creative arts and vocational skills as a pathway to self-reliance and economic empowerment.
Addressing participants at the graduation ceremony of Rakom Crafts and Training Center in Sefwi Wiawso-Tanoso, the chief emphasized the growing importance of practical skills such as crafts, music, and visual arts in today’s competitive world.
He encouraged young people to discover and nurture their talents, stressing that creative arts can serve as a reliable source of livelihood when pursued with dedication and innovation.
The Chief Executive Officer of Rakom Crafts and Training Center, Rita Racheal Okom Daizzy, also delivered an inspiring message to the graduates.
She urged them to make meaningful use of the skills they have acquired, encouraging them to create impactful works and inspire others to appreciate and invest in creative arts. According to her, the true value of their training lies in how effectively they apply their knowledge to transform their lives and communities.
