HB Braimah Education Foundation Disburses GHS 68,726.97 to Support Students in Salaga South

The HB Braimah Education Foundation LBG, established by the Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, has disbursed a total of GHS 68,726.97 to support students within the constituency in the payment of academic user fees.

The initiative forms part of the Foundation’s commitment to easing the financial burden on students and promoting uninterrupted access to higher education and professional training.

Beneficiaries of the support package include students from the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Coast, Savannah College of Education, Kpembe Nursing and Midwifery Training College, and Nkanchina Community Nursing Training College.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah underscored the critical role of education in national and community development.

“Education is the most powerful tool we have to break the cycle of poverty and build a stronger Salaga South. Through the HB Braimah Education Foundation, we remain committed to ensuring that no brilliant student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. This is an investment in the future of our constituency,” she stated.

The Foundation further reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its educational support programmes in the coming academic years as part of its broader agenda to promote human capital development and empower the youth of Salaga South.
