Learners advised to utilize every good opportunity that shows up

Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative that spreads excitement amongst the students and also makes them learn in a reframed. Keeping this thought in mind, the Seventh Day Adverntist Junior High School in Bibiani as part of their Adverntist Education Week Celebration has organized inter Houses Quiz competition for students in the school.

Event Format

The quiz consisted of several rounds, each designed to test different aspects of knowledge. These included language general knowledge, religious and Moral Education, science and mathematics.

Win or lose, participants emerge with a sense of accomplishment and pride in representing their house and they were:

It was heart-warming to see the children brimming with enthusiasm and exuberance as they vied with each other to answer questions that required deep knowledge.

The quiz ended with the declaration of the results and house One was declared as the winner.

Mr Samuel Obeng Opoku, the headmaster, congratulated the winning house and encouraged them to become good future leaders by taking their education seriously.

He said the future of the country lay in their bosom; hence, they must eschew all forms of irresponsible acts, focus on their education, and strive to attain higher laurels in the future.

He stressed that the Inter-Houses Quiz conducted was not just a test of knowledge; It was an opportunity for students to bond, learn, and grow.

He again stated that the aim was to acquaint the children with some general questions that should be known by them in this age group. It was a great learning experience, and the students enjoyed it thoroughly.

The Quiz master Sir Listowel Koffie, popularly known as Sir Listo, said: “Concentrate on why your parents have enrolled you in school and stay away from all forms of vices.

He further urged them to take advantage of every good opportunity that comes their way in school and society, and to always show love and respect to their parents and teachers.
