NPP Needs Unity to Win 2028 Elections — Prince Amoako-Atta
New Patriotic Party Communications Officer and SRC President of University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Mr. Prince Amoako-Atta, has emphasized the urgent need for unity within the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the NPP still has a strong chance of reclaiming power in 2028, but that victory can only be achieved if members of the party remain united and committed to a common goal.
Speaking in an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwateng, Mr. Amoako-Atta stated that internal peace, cooperation, and discipline among party faithful are essential for the rebuilding and strengthening of the party after the 2024 elections.
He stressed that all stakeholders, executives, grassroots members, communicators, and supporters of the party must put aside their personal differences and focus on promoting policies and initiatives that will help the NPP reconnect with the Ghanaian people and secure victory in the next election cycle.
“We have to keep together as a party and reinforce our unity to maintain the core of the party,” he stated.
Mr. Amoako-Atta further explained that the only way the NPP can effectively challenge the National Democratic Congress in the 2028 general elections is by presenting a united front despite differing opinions within the party.
He noted that political differences are normal in every democratic institution, but such disagreements must not divide the party or weaken its chances of returning to power.
The NPP Communications Officer also expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the 2028 elections if members remain focused, loyal, and committed to rebuilding the party’s structures across the country.
Mr. Amoako-Atta maintained that the NPP remains the political party with the best ideas and solutions to address Ghana’s economic and developmental challenges. He therefore called on Ghanaians, especially the youth, to support and join the party in its mission to restore economic growth and improve living conditions.
He concluded by urging party supporters to remain hopeful and work tirelessly towards strengthening the NPP ahead of the next general elections.
