NPP Presidential Race: Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman Supports Orderly Process


Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman, Chairman of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency Council of Patrons, has expressed his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders' initiative to establish a five-member ad hoc committee.

This committee aims to ensure an orderly process for the party's 31 January 2026 presidential primaries.

According to him,
The committee will monitor Aspirants' Conduct*: Oversee the remarks, behavior, and activities of aspirants and their followers.

Again Addres Petitions*: Receive and examine petitions regarding abusive language, hate speech, or personal attacks.

Alhaji Seaman speaking with the media appealed to aspirants to refrain from politics of insults, urging them to focus on articulating their vision and plans for contributing to the party's success, particularly in winning the 2028 general election.

He emphasized that maintaining unity within the NPP is crucial as the party prepares for future electoral challenges. A cohesive and respectful approach among aspirants will strengthen the party's position.
