Next Generation Impact Foundation Supports Needy Patients at Bibiani Government Hospital
Bibiani, Western North Region – The Next Generation Impact Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has extended financial support to two needy patients at the Bibiani Government Hospital to help ease their financial burden during their stay at the facility.
The beneficiaries include a man in his 60s and a woman who recently gave birth to twins. The foundation donated an undisclosed amount of money to the two patients to support their needs.
Speaking during the presentation, the organiser of the foundation, Mr Johnson Tandoh, explained that the organisation decided to assist the patients after visiting the hospital and learning about their difficult circumstances.
According to him, the foundation was informed that the elderly man and the mother of the newborn twins needed financial assistance, prompting the team to intervene.
Mr Tandoh said the gesture forms part of the foundation's commitment to supporting vulnerable people in society, particularly those facing financial difficulties and requiring assistance.
He emphasised the importance of showing compassion to people in need, adding that even a small contribution could make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
He also encouraged individuals and organisations to support the less privileged as part of efforts to promote a caring and supportive society.
Nurse Commends the Foundation
Receiving the donation on behalf of the beneficiaries, Nurse Mrs Anita Twumasi Ankra expressed appreciation to the Next Generation Impact Foundation for its timely intervention.
She commended the organisation for responding to the needs of the patients and called on other individuals, philanthropists, corporate institutions and organisations in Bibiani to emulate the gesture.
Mrs Ankra noted that support from the public could help ease the difficulties faced by vulnerable patients and contribute to their well-being during hospital treatment.
She encouraged residents to demonstrate kindness and compassion towards people experiencing hardship, stressing the importance of collective efforts in supporting those who need help.
Beneficiary's Family Expresses Gratitude
Moses Laabi, the son of one of the beneficiaries, Mr Ebenizer Mensah, also expressed gratitude to the foundation for the financial assistance.
He thanked Mr Tandoh and the entire team for remembering his father and extending a helping hand during a difficult period.
He said the support was appreciated and would help ease some of the challenges confronting the family.
A Call for Compassion and Community Support
The donation highlights the role non-governmental organisations and philanthropic groups can play in complementing efforts to support vulnerable members of society.
As some patients and their families face financial challenges while seeking medical care, interventions from individuals, organisations and other well-meaning members of the public can provide much-needed relief.
The Next Generation Impact Foundation's gesture serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion, generosity and community involvement in improving the welfare of people in need.
The foundation has reiterated its commitment to supporting the less privileged, with the hope that more people will join the effort to make a positive difference in their communities.
