A 45-year-old farmer, identified as Yaw Kweebo, has reportedly drowned in the River Aherisu at Aherisu in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to the media, the Assembly Member for the Aherisu Electoral Area, Mr. Yussif Sullemana, disclosed that the deceased left home on Friday but failed to return. Concerned family members reported the matter to him the following day, after which he advised them to lodge an official complaint with the Nhyinahin Police.
