Mrs. Christiana Agyapong to NPP Delegates: “Vote for Someone Who Can Win 2028, Not Just a Flagbearer”
Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, wife of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has met with the women’s wing of the NPP in the Bibiani–Anhwiaso–Bekwai Constituency as part of her outreach to galvanize support ahead of the party’s internal elections.
The meeting, which brought together constituency women organizers, polling station executives, and other female party faithful, aimed to encourage unity, commitment, and active participation of women in strengthening the NPP’s grassroots base.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Agyapong commended the women for their dedication to the party and urged them to rally behind her husband, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, in his bid to lead the NPP into the 2024 general elections.
She described her husband as a visionary leader with a proven track record of hard work, discipline, and patriotism — qualities she said were vital for the progress of both the party and the nation.
“Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has always stood for truth, fairness, and development. He believes in empowering the youth and women, and I am confident that with your support, he will bring fresh energy and purpose to the NPP and to Ghana,” she said.
Mrs. Agyapong also highlighted the important role women play in the party’s success, noting that their grassroots mobilization efforts have always been the backbone of the NPP’s electoral victories.
She encouraged them to remain steadfast and united as the party works toward a successful internal election and beyond.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the women to interact directly with Mrs. Agyapong, ask questions, and express their hopes for the future of the party under her husband’s leadership.
Mrs. Christiana Donkor, the Constituency Women’s Organizer, expressed appreciation to Mrs. Agyapong for her visit on behalf of the women.
She assured her of their commitment to campaign vigorously for Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to emerge victorious in the flagbearer race.
The engagement in Bibiani–Anhwiaso–Bekwai forms part of Mrs. Agyapong’s ongoing nationwide outreach to mobilize support among NPP women and grassroots members for her husband’s flagbearer bid.
