Bibiani, Western North Region – The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the , Hon. Sebastian Obeng, has expressed profound appreciation to all individuals and institutions that contributed to the success of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving held in Bibiani.

The event, hosted at the Trinity Assemblies of God Church under the theme, "Resetting Our Values to Build the Ghana We Want," brought together traditional leaders, religious bodies, security agencies, public officials, students, traders, transport operators, and residents to pray for peace, unity, and national development.

Speaking after the programme, Hon. Obeng thanked the Paramount Chief of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area and other traditional authorities, Muslim leaders, Christian clergy, security services, members of the media, students, staff of the Municipal Assembly, residents of Bibiani, traders, commercial drivers, and all participants for honouring the invitation and making the event a success.

He reserved special appreciation for the leadership and congregation of Trinity Assemblies of God Church for graciously making their church auditorium available for the municipal observance of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.

The MCE also commended and his administration for introducing the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, describing the initiative as a commendable step towards promoting national unity, moral renewal, and peaceful coexistence among Ghanaians.

According to Hon. Obeng, prayer remains an essential pillar in nation-building, as it seeks God's guidance, wisdom, and protection for the country's leaders and citizens. He expressed optimism that the prayers offered during the programme would contribute to Ghana's peace, stability, and socio-economic development.

He called on residents of the municipality to continue living in peace, supporting one another, and working together with the government to build a stronger and more prosperous Ghana.
