NDC HAS FAILED GHANIAN ON ITS PROMISES — FIDELIX NKOAH ADJEI

BIBIANI — SEPTEMBER 1, 2026: A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Fidelix Nkoah Adjei, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of failing Ghanaians to deliver on promises made before assuming office.

According to him, the NDC made several commitments to the Ghanaian electorate during its campaign, raising expectations among citizens, but has so far failed to meet many of those promises.

Speaking on Stylish Radio’s morning show, hosted by Hamza Mohammad, Fidelix Nkoah Adjei criticised the government’s performance and called on Ghanaians to carefully assess its record against the promises made to the electorate.

He argued that political parties should not be judged solely by their campaign messages but by the extent to which they are able to translate those promises into tangible policies and improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens.

Mr. Nkoah Adjei said concerns over the government’s performance could be seen in areas including the economy, employment, infrastructure and the general welfare of citizens.

He maintained that Ghanaians voted for the NDC with the expectation that the party would implement the policies and programmes it promised during the electioneering period.

The NPP communicator further urged the government to provide clear explanations on the status of its major campaign promises and demonstrate measurable progress in fulfilling them.

He stressed that citizens deserve accountability from political leaders and must be given the opportunity to assess whether elected officials are delivering on the mandate entrusted to them.

The comments were made during a political discussion on Stylish Radio 102.1 FM’s Stylish-In-The-Morning, where Mr. Nkoah Adjei and other political representatives discussed developments in the country and their implications for residents of the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.

His remarks are expected to fuel further public debate over the performance of the NDC government and whether it is living up to the expectations created by its campaign promises.

As the government continues with its programmes and policies, political observers and citizens will be watching closely to determine whether the administration can fulfil its commitments and address the concerns raised by its critics.
