Kyidomhene Raises Concerns Over Dark Downpour in Western North
Nana Elluo Panyin III, the Chief of Sefwi Nsuosua and Kyidomhene of the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council, has expressed deep concern over the recent dark downpour in the Western North Region.
In an exclusive interview with Faith FM's "Ghana Yie Die" political show, Nana warned the public about the potential dangers of the dark-colored rain.
He advised residents to avoid drinking or using the water for cooking until further investigations are conducted to determine its safety. Nana emphasized the need to understand the causes of the dark coloration, which he described as strange and hazardous.
To determine the source and nature of the dark downpour, Nana plans to send samples to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for scientific analysis.
The Kyidomhene also urged the media in the Western North Region to remain committed to spreading the truth and ensuring public safety. He stressed that this is a matter of public health and environmental concern, requiring collective effort to address.
Nana's warning highlights the importance of public awareness and education on environmental issues. By working together, residents and authorities can mitigate the risks associated with the dark downpour and ensure a safer community.
